Bento : Another cute and simple one!

By Friday, May 29, 2015 , ,

Monday : Plain rice with minions character made from egg. Seaweed : hair, eyebrow and mouth. Use mayonnaise to stick the seaweed together.

Tuesday : Miffy theme. Simply just made a  japanese rice into a ball shape. Then, I used chikuwa ( made from Japanese tube-like food product made from ingredients such as fish surimi, salt, sugar, starch, monosodium glutamate and egg white ). Cut it into a rabbit eyes shape. Lay on the tamagoyaki ( japanese rolled egg style ).

Wednesday : Mexican theme. Fried rice cooked with vegetables as a based. Then, I made a Mexican Chef from 3 main ingredients. A sausage as a hat and face, round shape fish cake as a body and a cheese slice as a hands. Just cut those shapes using the cutter and assemble it become a chef!

Thursday : A love letter theme. I made a sweet sour sausage to spice up the taste. It's a bit challenging when I need to think about the menu . I try to avoid any dish with soup or gravy since there is a possibility to spill . This sweet sour sausage recipe was very simple. Firstly, cut out the sausage into your desired shape. Secondly, saute the onions and garlics. Wait until it become brown. Then, add 1 TBSP of ketchup and 1 TBSP of chilli sauce. Stir it a bit. Add on some water. After it boiled, then add the sausage. Use the medium heat and closed the lid. Cooked for about 5 minutes or until the sausage looks like desired shape.

So, tell me ..which one is your favourite bento for this week?. :)
