Vacation in Switzerland (Day_1)

By Sunday, December 02, 2012 ,

Kelakar sebab Hannah dah tanya awal2 sebelum bertolak. "mama, ada present ke dalam flight?".. :)

Tiada nasi lemak rendang, mahupun nasi beriyani.

Alhamdulillah, kami selamat menunaikan solat jamak takdim. lega rasanya,

Abg Umair is playing with his brother, Uwais. Owh, the toy that he is holding was given by Zahra. I managed to give my email address to her and hoping that she will write to me. We hugged each other before she left us at the prayer room. I felt so honored and thankful to Allah Almighty for HIS permits by letting me met this kind-hearted lady.
We then off to Zurich HB to keep our luggage there. It  took only 15min ride from Zurich Airport by the train. Switzerland offered a  very systematically public transportation including the locker for every train station. It can fit our big luggage. #tips ;they did not accept bank notes. Thus,  you need to change the bank notes to coin.

Inside the main train station, Zurich HB. They already started the Christmas market but yet, we do not have time to linger around

Their train's schedule.

Do not know what is this tram for. But, there was a Encik Santa being a driver.

We catched tram number 6, which located outside the main station to get to the zoo. The journey only took 20 minutes. We were arrived around 330pm and since November is considered  in winter, so they closed at 5pm and because of that we did a very quick tour.

The background was very hazy . This is what they called as a  stratus cloud.
After 1 hour walking and tiring journey from Paris, we had our lunch+dinner at the zoo restaurant. We had nasi putih and ayam masak kicap. Trust me, it felt like eating a five stars meals hotel. Sejuk+lapar memang kombinasi terbaik

Abang Umair with his penguin inside the Zoo's shop.

Inside the tram on the way back to Zurich HB to catch the train to our next destination, Interlaken West.

A beautiful view with the Christmas lights at the Old  Town (Alstadt)

In front of SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) main building. I would strongly recommended  if you want to go to Switzerland by public transport since their service  is the best. It  was including train, tram, bus and boats. Go to http://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html  to get the schedule and www.myswissalps.com for the swiss pass type.Besides, almost at any time, you can just ask the questions in the forum provided and they will answer it within one / two days. What I can say about their public transport is : Very efficient, clean, systematic and stroller-friendly since they have an escalator and we do not have any problem carrying stroller and luggage unlike in Paris. We have to carry our 2 yrs old son and fold the stroller when everytime we want to climb the stairs. It can become worst when the day is rainy or we have something  to carry.

Inside the main station building.

Kids must be hungry. Sian derang, banyak kena jalan. Nasib baik OK jer except Hannah la complaint tired.
Our bedroom at Interlaken West.  Very clean room and confortable cuma agak kecik and basic . The hotel name is : Toscano Minotel.

Sumer dah mandi and ready to go to Lala land. Esok nak jalan2 ke Gridewald pulak. Good night!!!

  2. Ayam masak kicap terbaik di Zurich. Hehe..Alhamdulillah..kids behave well but letih la sebab handle derang kan?. Umair dok dlm stroller almost the time..that's why die ok jer. Uwais pun ok dok dlm baby carrier..Hannah jer la , sometimes cranky sebab kena jalan banyak tapi tak smpi nangis la. Lapa jer sokmo.
